Endemic Species

Lord Howe Island offers one of the few remaining fisheries relatively untainted by commercial interests. Although there are areas of marine park, a large proportion of the island and surrounding waters are available for recreational anglers.  

The following species are targeted by Greenback.

Red Emperor, Hapuku, Yellow Spot Wrasse, LHI Kingfish, Blue Maori Cod, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna
